Base to Wilderness: Trim Levels of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek

Base

The entry-level Crosstrek is a highly capable car. The 2.0-liter BOXER engine offers a zesty 152 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque, paired with a Lineartronic CVT with Adaptive Control and Incline Start Assist features. It also leverages Subaru’s legendary symmetrical all-wheel drive to maintain traction even in poor conditions, while Subaru’s Intelligent Drive modes and active torque vectoring add even more control. Fuel economy is excellent, offering 34 mpg highway / 27 mpg city.

Premium

Sport Crosstreks and above are treated to an engine upgrade: the 2.5-liter BOXER 4-cylinder motor makes 182 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque, enabling more fun and more capability. Heated front seats improve comfort in cold conditions, and leather now graces the shifter handle and steering wheel.

Limited

The Limited trim increases creature comfort in the Crosstrek. Power-adjustable, leather-trimmed seats with attractive orange contrast stitching come standard for enhanced comfort. The EyeSight safety suite gets an upgrade, too: the Limited trim adds standard reverse automatic braking and blind-spot detection with rear cross-traffic alert.

Wilderness 

Made for the trail, the Wilderness trim is the most capable Crosstrek. Ground clearance rises to 9.3 inches for more off-road capability, and the turning diameter gets even tighter for a more nimble drive. Maximum towing capacity is also higher in the Wilderness, rising to 3,500 pounds and making it easy to bring a boat or camper along for the adventure.

The Wilderness is also made to get muddy. The exterior gets cladding on the lower portions of the body, there’s a glare-reducing patch on the hood, and the interior features water-repellent StarTex upholstery for quick clean-ups.
