The Compact Powerhouse: 2024 Subaru Impreza Unveiled

Your Choice of Engines

The Impreza comes with a 2-liter four-cylinder engine that has 152 horsepower, but a 2.5-liter four-cylinder BOXER engine is available on the new RS trim level and offers 182 horsepower. Regardless of which trim level you opt for, you’ll get a continuously variable automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The base and Sport trim levels of the Impreza get an estimated 27 miles per gallon on city streets and 34 miles per gallon on the highway. The RS trim gets 26 miles per gallon on city streets and 33 miles per gallon on the highway.

Plenty of Capacity

The Impreza seats five passengers and offers plenty of room for cargo. With the rear seats up, you’ll have 20.4 cubic feet of space for cargo. Fold the rear seats down and you’ll have 56 cubic feet to work with. Standard roof crossbar mounting points increase this vehicle’s carrying capacity.

Infotainment Amenities

The base model of the Impreza comes with a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen, while upper trim levels come with an 11.6-inch touchscreen. All models are equipped with Starlink, Subaru’s onboard multimedia system. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM, HD radio, and Bluetooth all come standard.

All Impreza models come with a USB-A input port, and the Sport and RS models get a USB-C port as well. Depending on which model you’re driving, you’ll have either a four or a six-speaker sound system. A Harmon Kardon stereo system is available on the top-level RS trim.

EyeSight Driver Assist

EyeSight Driver Assist, which comes standard on the Impreza, features a complete lineup of safety features aimed at keeping everyone onboard safe on the road. Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, Pre-Collision Braking, and Pre-Collision Throttle Management are all included in EyeSight Driver Assist.

Steering Responsive Headlights

Steering Responsive Headlights, which come standard on the Impreza, make it easier to see around corners by aiming toward the direction in which you’re steering. Because the direction you’re heading in will be better illuminated, you’ll be able to react more quickly and better respond to the unexpected.
